but they don't come with ABS rings...and in case I snap the ABS ring while taking it out...that's why these new pink fluffy dice with ABS ring will be my backup plan. I will still attempt to take those ABS rings out anyway with a rubber mallet and a bronze flat punch. :)

You're right about the abuse. Not so much about your hesitation to tap off a ABS ring, more the fact you won't pickup the phone to ring some local driveshaft people to get the right CV in the first place, as opposed to ordering in from Camskill because you can see it on their website :geny:

Do you know how many driveshaft suppliers & re-conditioners exist in any one city these days? It's an industry in it's own right!

Scroll past all the Repco & Brusons type places. You're welcome!

Thanks :)

I always thought it was an off the shelf product thingy...

I will now venture out and find a CV shop this weekend. :)

If you did need to order something, it might work out cheaper to do it through your local UK member! ;)

Mind you, I bought a rear hub for my beastie from a supplier in Australia as it was cheaper even when you include the import duties than it was from Camskill!!

Nice offer! Only problem is, being a UK resident, you'd get hit with 17.5% VAT. We don't pay that :)

As long as our orders don't exceed $1000 AUD, we don't pay our local tax (10% GST) or any import duty.

17.5%....those were the days! It's been 20% for the past couple of years. No import duties...nice!

It all depends on what the item is and whether the flat rate you guys are charged works out more or less the VAT + local postage rate, etc.
