Coming up to 100k Service, what to expect!?

Post by Ftowner »

Car is already at 100,200kms! I'm just interested to know how much you guys paid for your 100k service? I know it depends on what i need fixing, but if there is an average or so?

Any specific place i should be sourcing the Timing Belt and other parts from?

Can anyone recommend a mechanic in Sydney to do the job for a good price?

All help is appreciated, thanks guys!

yip book cost is for eight hours labour generally expect to be round the $1000 mark incl new pump and seals etc done.

Job realistically takes round five hours in shop so provide all parts and you may get away with 5 to 6 in labor, or drive down here and ill do it for ya much cheaper

Would probably cost him just as much to drive down here and back from Sydney. But he'd have a good drive getting here though

Well I've got 6,000km left until we  do my planned 80k. So hopefully I can hold out until it's colder, otherwise I find an air-conditioned workshop haha

Still need to work out when we're going to do our brakes too. Unless you've already done yours?
