K&N panel filter.

Post by Astron_Boy »

Anyone have one they're not using and looking to sell?

Can get a newbie for under $60, but give an old one a wash and it's basically new anyway.

I would quote Bennoz from the other day, but damn dude.
You really need to:
A) Search.
B) Ask first.

And sorry, it was actually just over $60, not under.

I Haven't paid for it yet lol

There's a lot of them on eBay, and they all seem to vary in price. So how do you know it's a genuine k&N? And how can it be half the price than one ordered from a parts shop :/

Because parts shop put their own price on, which covers the cost to run the shop, pay wages, etc.
Bit of a long story, but online is 9/10 cheaper simply due to economics of running the "business".

That is the cheapest listed by I think it was $5.00

Given its German based, not China, I'm happy to take a risk.
If it's fake, I report and go from there.

Just get a cheapo paper one to cover you for now and buy the eBay one.
I honestly doubt it's going to be a fake.

Or, wait until I buy mine, and then I'll let you know.

However, I'm in no rush, so you may be paper filtered for a while...

I'll have a look at the pile sitting in the bucket that I took from the Trailer.
I'm sure some suitable lots should be there.

Will let you know about the filter, no-one seems to have one they no longer want.

I like the background pic, where they mentioned talented people, in the listing.

Please keep me informed after you get it, as I am running the stock air filter which should be due for replacement soonish.

Last one of these I bought for the RVR (same filter) I bought for roughly the same price. Genuine.
However that trader is no longer registered, so can't buy from them.
