Quick question also, has anyone ever had the issue of the slotted and dimpled rotors cracking? I have heard numerous stories questioning the strength of dimpled rotors.

I highly doubt the FTO rotors would crack more than a normal rotor, we only have 1250kg (maybe 1400 after passengers, stereo etc) and i doubt you would constantly reach speeds repeatedly to put the stress on them.

Fair point.. although, my FTO will be seeing more national park runs and track days than standard driving as it's a second car. Although I can see why the dimpled rotors woul be prone to crack near the dimples, which could be considered weak points.

Was just curious really. Still in for the GB if it goes ahead.

Xena, why dont you do a GPX brake upgrade on the front at the same time. The GPX calipers bolt straight on and then you can fit the larger discs then.
