WBTTC Stu.

How do you decide which Mitsi to drive?

If it was me I wouldn't be able to stop driving the FTO :P

WBTTC mate.
Curious as to how much more you can squeeze out with just bigger injectors and pump - does it justify the money spent ok?

dont know exactly since i didnt dyno it but virtual dyno says i gained 19kw weather its purely the e85 and the timing it allows you to run.

wont matter to much longer i committed for that 4g93t today

its easy.

the FTO is easy and fun everyday. but then a fast car comes by and your sad.
the EVO is fast and fun but its not fun just cruising around.
the GTO is just stupid. stupid quick. stupid handling. stupid fuel usage. and therefore is mostly track its past being a car anymore

Whats quicker? GTO > Evo > Fto?

oh the GTO is sooooooo much faster. like makes your sh*t alittle fast. But i built i that way. The evo is capable of this power but that would make it a horrible car to drive around in.

The evo is usable power, its faster then most things you'll ever come up against at a set of lights

Well the 550cc is stock in a CT9a (evo 7,8,9) so i grabbed a 2nd set from EvolutionOZ for $110
You'll need a bigger pump, I went with the Walbro (which i have come to call the whinebro, not the quietest pump) the Mitsubishi plug drop in will run you about $150

The last thing is the ECU, you'll need a Tatrix Openport 2.0 Cable ($150) and ECUFlash (free). the FTO is missing the Reflash Port next to the OBDII Port. So you need to wire pin 79 on the ecu to a open cable you can connect to the tatrix reflash plug when you want to write to the ECU.

e85 or eFlex if you want it on pump is far better in a forced induction car, however its resistance to det means more timing and more timing equal more power in NA. e85 is also more oxygen per gram so you do get a slight better bang for your buck.

All in all, is it worth the effort on the FTO prob not as the gains are small, but i cant leave a car alone. I just pulled my gf's mazda 3 rom yesturday to start some more fun for small gains

I only went e85 because the FTO doesnt really have any room for improvement on the stock fueling, its already pretty lean.

Here is the stock fuel map, IRL it will be abit richer then the target
