**SOLD**

Post by Taz »

So with Matt deciding to throw in the towel i have penciled in that i will be buying the car to part out as its not really worth selling as a whole.

At this stage just seeing if anybody will be interested in the motor in the car, has an unknown amount of km on it - however it is because it was xplanted in as were assuming the other one was fairly old, so this one will be fairly new, we estimate somewhere around the 100k mark.
A timing belt and water pump kit was just put on about 10k ago, has no leaks or faults and runs well.
Will be looking for around 1000 because of the major service mentioned above was just done.

Will also have the manual box to go with it (minus the clutch and flywheel as im taking them for my car), not sure on the price right now but around the 500 mark once i assess the condition of it.

There will be a few other goodies out of the car (most of the popular ones im taking for my own car, so NO i dont have the stereo console, linkage cables, strut braces etc) but they will not be named until i part with what i want out of the car, and i have actually purchased the car in full - so just wait for a list.

Am only really seeing if anyone is interested in a good nic MIVEC motor and manual box - so please feel free to post here if interested
Cheers

Dibs on manual box!

Everything needed for manual re-co, basically, if its lying around :D

You said no clutch, so pretty much everything manual related if its left.. e.g. sensors, dash/tacho, gear shifter, etc etc. :D :D

I will take the linkage cables myself as theyre basically brand new, and the short shifter kit with it (as you can see it is very beneficial for me to buy as im getting a good 2k of stuff i can directly use)

Cluster and everything else wont be a problem - will be looking for 500 as the box is in pretty good shape, just done an oil change on it (another 60 'wasted' i guess for him) and its feeling smooth.

Engine will be a flat 1000, looking over it again it is in really good nick, is a low km engine with a new timing kit and water pump.

Will purchase in around a month when my payout from aldi comes through, will try to arrange for the box and engine to be sold on that date/just after so it reduces what i have to pay upfront.

It is a damn shame that this is how Matt's fto will end but it is best for all parties.

Thats fine dude, no hurry this is just expressing interest, you got a month to decide ultimately if Akys isnt suitable etc.
Cheers for the heads up though :thumright:

Just ripping on lawso that's all, no harm intended.

No worries, understand that these cars are easy to get attached to. Your car is your car.

So it turns out i might be buying HiRAEdd's old car, with the mivec engine and manual clutch - prices would be slightly lower than matts engine would be, pm me if you would be interested in either, i know crosso has first dibs on the engine if he is keen, otherwise it is basically open to anyone
going round hopefully tuesday/wednesday to take a look
