Argggg, Cant match the blue anymore

Post by dstocks »

Made the mistake of thinking the Kaze guards would be moulded with the current blue colour, but theyve primed them so ive lost it now. Going to have to go off photos for the respray now

That sucks. No chance they can just scratch a bit of the primer off to get the paint code and re-prime (primers pretty cheap) ... assuming cause they were a custom colour they were not painted from behind?

    Yahoo Japan - Nope.

Im going to wait until theyve made the moulds and then see what I can do. Im hoping I can polish back down to the blue when its all done. Not sure if itll work though. And no, aftermarket colour only on the front. I dropped in this afternoon and I think this is going to be my only option other than working off a photo (which quite frankly probably wont work)

Problem is that colour charts (swatches) are generally too small to really tell what its going to look like

lol, yeah on his previous thread about changing colour i was saying the blue i have (T70, which is the same as the evo X) looked exactly the same as the blue that was on his fenders, but the light plays tricks on metalic paint.

        glad you agree :D
