TEIN Pillowball Topmounts
I was thinking about purchasing a set from camskill.
http://www.camskill.co.uk/m3b644s10p253 ... _DE2A_DE3A
My questions are........
Are they really worth the $259.50?
Will I feel any improvement in handling?
Am I better off spending the money on pod + CAI?

Re: TEIN Pillowball Topmounts
Without VAT theyre only $215
And I remember reading somewhere that rubber ones from pedders were about $60-$70 each, so they aren't that much more expensive than rubber ones.

Bennoz was telling me at the bonfire that they give a firmer and sportier feel.
And you also get the advantage camber adjustment.

Re: TEIN Pillowball Topmounts
Problem is, that with standard diametre springs (although yours are Teins Phil) you can only get 1 - 1.5 degree neg camber MAX before the springs start rubbing on the underside of the towers & can actually bind up & get twisted / de-seated. It's happened to me on more than one occasion.

But having said that, yes they do firm up the ride a bit. Plus they fit on the Tein NAs.

Re: TEIN Pillowball Topmounts
Thanks for the feedback guys
I think I will leave this one until I have run out of other mods to do or until I become rich and bored
I might go for a pod filter/CAI, they are just so expensive for a great one. Although I have seen a slightly cheaper version that I might go for.

Re: TEIN Pillowball Topmounts
Get them from america works out to around $180 from memory delivered.
I actually called Pedders today think it was $93 for two FTO strut mounts.

Re: TEIN Pillowball Topmounts
I looked EVERYWHERE to get them from the states, and I mean EVERYWHERE. Out of the 10+ stores I contacted, none had them in stock and only one was willing to special order them which would take 12 weeks and cost $280, fastest and cheapest option was Camskill as I was also planning on buying other stuff. Ended up costing me about $220.payaya wrote:Get them from america works out to around $180 from memory delivered.

How are Camskill ones $220? They are more than that less shipping.Vectose wrote:I looked EVERYWHERE to get them from the states, and I mean EVERYWHERE.
