Sort of newbie from England

Post by Zx7rdale »

Hello all I've been a member of the uk club for almost two years. Just thought I would pop by to say hello.
A few pics of my gpxImageImageImageImage
I lent my Fto to the missus too much so had to get her one as well.

Welcome :)
I suggest you get rid of the wing in favor of a stock one and take the stickers off

Sort of newbie from England

Post by Zx7rdale »

I'm in the middle of trying to get her ready for a show. I spent 7hours yesterday cleaning her up. But good old British weather all it's done since is rain, it's our first owners club show this year. All I've got left to do us clean the wheels and polish up the exhaust but there's only two days left. Thank you for the welcomes as for the spoiler you either love it or hate it I do but the missus hates it. :)

^^^I agree, spoiler looks awsome, you should get one for the misses FTO.
Nice FTO as well, the engine bay looks cool, is your intake manifold painted or polished?

WTTC :D .
First thing, the wing keep it as it is different and it makes it your ride. I like it and want to see more pics of it.
Now for the show good luck with it and I hope your club gets somthing out of it ( trophies ) .
We have done a number of auto salon shows now and come away with two trophies so far. To finish off :thumright: from me on the look of the car.

Thank you for the comments all of the silver bits are sprayed with a plastic spray from a DIY store it all stays fairly clean but I did have to put lots of coats of lacquer on. I'm not allowed to change Julie's Fto in any way she loves them as standard. In fact I'm not even allowed to drive hers unless I've just fixed it. The plenum has only been cleaned up with a wire brush attachment for a power drill.
This is the show were off to on saturday

Ok.
What wing is that to be exact?
Almost looks Veilside, but it isn't.

Also, is that a carbon fibre gear selector cover?

The radio surround was cracked in four places so I fibreglassed behind it and carbon wrapped it. The spoiler is the only one I could find that I hadn't seen on another Fto. It's a veil side for an RX7 and attaches in more places.

Ahh! Hence why it looks Veilside.

Have any other shots of it mounted to the boot?
Interesting to see the fit. Always been curious of RX7 wings on the FTO.

When you have time; if you could, take one from directly behind looking along the boot line. That would be awesome.
