Looks like we can still go for the 17th
.
From the RTA website:
MACQUARIE PASS - ILLAWARRA HIGHWAY
ROAD WORKS
Lanes closed: Both directions
From: 9:30am on 09 March 2009
To: 3:00pm on 20 March 2009
RTA advice: Use alternate route, Allow extra travel time
Other advice: The Macquarie Pass will be closed in both directions to all traffic for two weeks to allow for essential road repairs.
Closure times are Monday to Friday only between 9:30am and 3pm. The road will be open in both directions outside of these times.
Motorists are advised to use either Picton Road, Sheepwash Road, Moss Vale Road and Cambewarra Road as alternatives. Light vehicles can also use Jamberoo Valley Mountain Road.

Probably not going to make this one,
I've got a cruise with mates the weekend after and I need to spend the day TLC-ing my car!
That, and I need to head up into the mountains to meet up with Dwayne.
