hey guys...
i was reading around and i heard that most people get about 500 - 600km out of one tank before having to refill...
funnily enough...mine never gets anywhere near that...mine goes 400ish and sometimes less. petrol prices dont help either.
i was wondering what is wrong with my fto.

thanks in advance

o2 sensor most likely but other issues affect it too

servicing up to date?
Do you drive like you stole it? etc

Most common culprit is the 02 sensor... but it can be a range of things such as blocked cats, shot ECU water temp senders, clogged fuel filters etc can all ruin fuel economy.

Give us a brief service history of the car.

well max i ever got out of it since i got it was 450km.

i got the car really cheap. 6k. no actual problems with the car. least not what ive noticed.

this is the actual problem ive only experience in the last 2 months.

umm sorry, but i dont know much about cars. but what exactly is the 02 sensor? cause i do notice a bit of rust on the exhaust pipe

O2 sensor, or Oxygen sensor aka Lambda sensor, its that little thing with a wire on the exhaust pipe before before the catalytic converter.

98 is fine for what they offer here, don't go out of your way to get 100, I never have.

Btw, your car gets used to the type of petrol you use. I always get more mileage out of BP Ultimate than others because that's what I've used from the start.

full city driving can get avg of low 400kms.

so dont worry too much.

our rides are not picky. feed it with 95 with occasional 98 and shes happy.

Nah it's true! I get 900kms!! Why you guys aren't getting that? Think it's time for an engine swap maybe?

Also I have a stalling issue when I first start my car up in the morning?? It's driving me insane!! I have changed my fuel filter, tps, petrol pump, plugs, all relays, fuel filter, air filter, coils and more. What could be causing it? Does the FTO usually suffer from idle problems when cold???

Should I change my battery?
