Hi

My partner Vicki has a 96 Silver GR ... she loves it very much.

We also have a 89 Nissan 300zx Twin-Turbo, 2 seater Hardtop + a 90 Nissan 300zx Non-Turbo, 2 seater Hardtop - both are red.

I need info on the FTO to do some service work and fix up some stuff. So here I am.

We live in Wellington, New Zealand ....

Cheers, Rob

all

Yup ... it is cold going into winter now. My Dad lives in Bundaberg ... have a sister there .... 3 twin sisters in Brisbane.

Dad keeps giving me sh*t about how it's 27˚ over in Bundy while it's only 16˚ here .... but home is where you make it .... :D

I had the 'dash lights with the tail lights go out' problem .... reading past posts I checked the fuses ... all ok ?

Took the battery out and charged it .... while it was charging, I removed a few relays and pluged them back it.

Once the battery was back in the problems went away ... dash lights with the tail lights have been working ok since 8O

So must have been a relay that re-set itself when the battery went back in 8)

Don't know where you live, but walking to work in the CBD hasn't felt like 16˚ for ages. Oh, you mean during the day? When I can't actually get into the limited sun and it's dark by 530? lol how I hate wellington!

Anyways, WTTC mate, good to see a local on here :)

EDIT!

As for dashlights going out, did your guages stop working too? If so, search for 'recalls' here and you should find the thread detailing some BS problems; I had the issue and it turns out one of the looms under the dash gets fouled by the bonnet release lever and can mess with wires arcing and blowing fuses etc. Something to check out at least.
