it should significantly come down in price depending on the number...
what about extending the group buy(if we're gonna have one) to the UK guys and WA? just an idea....

i asked them earlier whether they have other vent styles, they said only the two...

FTO338, i asked them about the bumper, and they said they have the VS and the other one was just a lip... and they're gonna email me the image.

what sort of costs are we looking at for interstate delivery?

by the way, at that price i am not convinced it is 100% carbonfibre... if my instincts serve me correct, it would be fibreglass core with a thin CF outter shell, similar to all the other cheap and nasty CF jobs from Taiwan/HK...

having said that it still looks cool though but not sure about the evo-5 vents... they've been done to death!

thats what they said anyway...

im assuming 50$ for interstate delivery....

do they still use the factory latches to lock in in place or would we need bonnet pins? are the bonnet braces made from carbonfibre or fibreglass, or does it bolt/stuck onto the factory steel bracings?

any ideas on how much it would cost to install?

I wonder how many ppl we'll need to get it down to $500?
I like the idea of a group buy with ppl from OS, the cheaper the better :P ...

I'll think about it :)

Hey guys,

Adriano and myself have just come back from SRS and the results are as follows.

Some bad news....the CF bonnet is not as cheap as we were told by SRS earlier.
The questions you guys have asked for are here so find what you need.

1. Any other bodykits other than veilside? Just a front lip and a topmix side skirts

2. Exact price for the number of people for the CF bonnet?
EVO5 style: 5 people = $1150
10 people=$1100
Plain Style: 5 people=$975
10 people=$900

3. What other bonnets are there? Only 2 style

4. What other accessories are there?
HID kit: $990 fitted, $900 not fitted
eye lid: $130 not painted in fibre glass
front lip: $350

5. Delivery price? Approx. $70 interstate

6. Does the bonnets need bonnet pins? No it clicks on to the factory bonnet lock.

7. vielside body kit prices:
front bar: in one piece $ 390
rear bar: $380
side skirts: $390
Spoiler: $370

8. Weight difference: they don't know. They think it's at least 1/3 to 2/3 of the OEM bonnet.

Here you go guys, find what you need and see if it's a good news or a bad news...

I was thinking of getting the eye lids...any one want to go group buy on this?

Thanks guys,
Adriano

Was at the Sydney Auto Salon today and saw an ad for the following people:

http://www.customcarbon.com.au

Anyone dealt with this company before? Prices could be cheaper if things were made locally. Based in Queensland.
From FTO to EVO......

Sorry. not sure..

But I am assuming that the side skirts will be the similar price as the veilside skirts.
They roughly all are....

Although you can email and confirm..

hey d-train, ive inquired at customcarbon for a bonnet before, they quoted me $1,500 + gst for a 100% carbon fibre + $50 interstate delivery... if we get 10 orders he's offering 200$ off the total price.... the good thing with this is that we can customise the bonnet to whatever we like...

Topmix side skirt and the VS side skirt are the same.... at SRS anyways... its the one on the yellow car above....
