buying first FTO for p-plater

hey everyone im new to the club, i was just wondering whether anyone had any tips for buying a first fto, u know like things to look for, common problems after purchasing etc. if anyone knows of an fto for sale in nsw that may not be posted on the better known car sites,if they could send me a link that would be great
im looking at:manual transmission
under 200,000k's(preferably in between 100 and 160)
my budget is $10,000
and coulour isnt really an issue

head on down to the FORSALE section, some preety good cars going for a good price w/ a few nice mods on them aswell.

WTTC, one thing I would say is critical, if buying an FTO with over 100,000 k's, make sure the Cambelt and all tensioners etc have been done BEFORE 100,000 k's.
It's a bitch of a job, but if it is over 100 and hasn't been done, its a good indication that the car hasn't been looked after...

One of the stickies is about buying an FTO. Cant remember what section, but will only take you 5 minutes to find it.
