Source for new factory panels?

Post by indyfto »

Any ideas on who stocks or can get hold of new panels, ie: bumpers - preferably in QLD?

Thanks.

Try http://www.partslocator.com.au - very handy in my opinion (if the parts you are looking for are available). tells you what parts are available, which workshop, where and ph number etc...

hope that helps for a start!

Thanks Mikey but aren't they all used parts or do they list new stuff too? Last time I used it I never took any notice - I just assumed it was all used stuff.

u have to bear in mind that FTOs are no longer manufactured since 2000/2001 (can't remeber exactly) so it'd be pretty hard to get new panels unless they are ordered in from Mitsubishi in Japan and that will take some time and serious dollars... Best best if to source one from import wreckers (coz they are constantly dismantling parts etc) and then give it the onceover at the paint shop - still works out cheaper than a brand new one from Japan IMO...

My 2c.
