manofwood wrote:your front tyres looked pretty tired (no pun intended) when i first rocked up, leaves were sticking to them! i'm still blown away by that S6 RX7, how goddamn fast it was, and overtaking the GTR's on the outside! unreal!
They were tired before I got to the track, but I was quietly surprised, they stuck hard all day! Albeit there's no tread left on, they stuck & stuck & stuck. My ratings of the RS2's have gone up.

And that RX7 was nuts, he was the quickest on the track all day. He had 315's on the rear of that thing 8O

Nice pics too Az! 8)

Racing in a VL is like being in the Special Olympics, coz even if you win, you're still a RETARD

This is the best one 8) Went round 2 Rexes in 2 laps, one down the inside at the end of the straight, one on the inside of the last corner before the straight. You can see the nos kick in on the back section of the track!

I've been invited back again on the 5th of June 8)

I might be able to get some invites for others if you want...

Pricier day thou @ $337 for the day. This time its the full Oran Park Circuit (including the bridge & all that) Its more expensive because they have to put on another 3 marshalls when they open up the north end of the track.

Also included is tuition from Ian Luff & his crew of guys should you want it. A good day for beginners. All you need is a helmet - and you can even hire them at the track if you need to.
