Does it screw your trans if you rev in neutral then drop into first?

im not too sure about that

but i'd think it would screw up the transmission if u did that at every red light!

i'd still think the rex would win, mainly because it is AWD... and FTO's are not hehe

It depends whether the WRX bogs down or not.

If you were both dragging, the WRX should win if it dumps it's clutch with mid range revs.

HOwever if the WRX driver bogs the car down and you get the launch, you'd win in a short drag =P

It depends on the situation but if the drivers were of equal skill and both had perfect launches, the WRX would win.

would probably get the jump on him by half a car length until the boost came on.
but a good driver can bring a car onto boost when stationary for that kind of situation, doh!
