i just heard that the dc2 were one of the quickest fwd out there, but i guess im wrong.

It used to be. They were a good car.

My ex had one (non v.tec yo B18B motor) and I dumped a set of extractors, full exhaust & a pod filter on it & it went like the clappers.
Very elastic torque band that kept it pulling from 2 grand all the way to redline.

But these days, they're getting a bit long in the tooth. Modern engines make that sort of grunt with relative ease.

It's k20 days now.
FD2R will whoop gti's ass in the track.

And if someone's gonna say it has no torque for stupid race on a straight freeway, then you're destined for commonwhore & falcunt. They're bang of bucks for your stupid race at the road with full of torques and power from v8 or v6t.
