:facepalm: You didn't read anything I wrote did you? I am not talking about someone stealing my car or my identity or my house. I am talking about being seen where and when I shouldn't be..... Oh ffs..

@bduffman...

Not that I need to enter into further argument as to the technicalities of privacy, but you're clearly digging yourself a bigger hole...

You mentioned Facebook, etc. If it's so easy to find my details online, do it. Prove me wrong.

Otherwise, stop being a killjoy and jumping into people's threads just to start an argument.

I chose to not show my plates in very much the same way that I choose to make sure that I use correct punctuation so that I don't look like an illiterate idiot.
You are awesome! I like that!

I agree, and its not so mcuh aubot spelilng, if it is only minor! It is about getting the point across and not having to have people read your post 10x to make sense of it.

Am I right when I say that the way one posts can reflect on their intellect/educational level? :cheeky:

Since this seems to be a highly controversial thread already, I hope it's okay if I make my own contribution :P

I think the statement quoted above is generally true, however it has limitations and is not always applicable. For example I generally talk like an illiterate bogan on forums and Facebook etc, but only because I'm lazy and find it amusing, not due to my intellectual capabilities. Also this is after all a car forum, not an aerospace engineering discussion board, so I think poor spelling and punctuation can be excused to some extent. I do however agree that as soon as a post becomes difficult to read or interpret, the author needs to try a little harder.

That is the point I am at - one can bogan speak all they want - but even one's bogan speak can have it's point transferred through the first time it is read. As opposed to having to read the message again and again to get the point, especially when not only one person notices this, not two, but many! :lol:

Kuran, Im with you on the facebook thing, and we know you're good. :thumright:

Don't steal any of Simon's clientele, he still hasn't saved up for the boat yet.
