Born Yeovil, Sommerset (and no i dont talk like Wurzel Gummige, Thank god!! :D )

and the last place i was in before hopping on the boat was Weymouth, Dorset

Working with a brummy girl at the mo - everyone complains they can't understand a word she says. They ask her a question, nod thoughtfully, then once she's left, they ask me what she said :D

its the hottest accent!! lol.....ive lived away from england for so long now but theres a lot of words that will neva change....

Lmao, i just read your last post in my head with a brummi accent and the first thing i thought of was........... Brookside......... :lol:

i've been over here for over 10 years now so its good to hear the accent no matter which part of England its from........ even in my own head :twisted:

I know what you mean when you say its only a couple of words,
i get picked up on (pulled the piss out of) for saying:

yog-urt rather than yo-gurt and
new-castle rather that new-car-sel

besides that my accents pretty much gone, its only until i say something
like the above that people if im Irish :lol:
