It would cost you less than $50 for a tent and air mattress.

I have an electric pump for air mattresses.

Tents these days are so easy to set up too.

So go to Kmart and buy some comfort ;)

Please don't forget to bring that flare for me :)

I've just done an estimated calculation of what the cost of fuel will be for my car to do the round trip and it's going to be around $470, assuming we don't do any extra driving

That however is also using average prices of fuel and average km/100.

Yea so double your total cost then. And like I said I was using average petrol costs (which for country SA and PULP98 is expensive so factor that into cost) and then average L/100 which for me is like 10.2L/100

You'll get better than 10.2L
I make 60L last 800kms almost
On a long highway trip

When I travel to my parents along highway I get 9.4L/km roughly at 110kmh. I'm planning for worst case scenario, if the trip is cheaper then I'm not going to complain

This...

I would do 110 daily on the highway to work in Bobby. Would also do mixed city traffic. Would average out at about 8.5l per 100k... Would get 615k to a tank before I would fill up...

We need final numbers for sleeping arrangements for the drive over so I can find and book.

Who is bringing a tent to sleep in on the way?

I will have a 3 man tent and single air mattress, 1 moar single mattress can fit in my tent if needed.

I'm bringing a tent myself. Haven't bought it yet, so not sure on what size it'll be but it'll probably be a 3 Asian man size tent. So should be able to fit 2 people
