Re: PHIL069's 95 FTO GPX
Day two down, jobs completed..........
1- Tint tail lights and maybe side indicators - Vectose spent most of the day sanding my tail lights ZFL45H1 got into it and sanded his own tail lights too Vectose and I tinted my tail lights after dark (it was a loooong day) and they look awesome, we even tinted my side indicators
2- Fit some new lighting to the boot, including 2 red EL panel glowing FTO symbols - Oh boy does my boot look good
3- Fit perspex inbetween rear seat/boot, get rid of the crappy plastic divider - Great idea, sets off the boot nicely
A great big thanks and cheers to Vectose and ZFL45H1, we had a great day, had lots of fun and we were very productive
One day to go.......I'm having a great FTO holiday

Looks good but I dislike how those screens come up and cover half of the aircon controls.

Re: PHIL069's 95 FTO GPX
You just touch a button on top of the screen and it folds back 45 deg so you can access the climate control. You can also operate the head unit with the screen closed and use buttons on the lower half. You really only need the screen open if you have a DVD in.Kustom wrote: Looks good but I dislike how those screens come up and cover half of the aircon controls.
EDIT: Having a fold away screen allows you to have the screen closed while night driving and gives you the other DIN position to use (CB), a 2DIN screen just lights up your face at night and uses both DIN locations.

My old 2DIN screen had a clock.PHIL069 wrote:You just touch a button on top of the screen and it folds back 45 deg so you can access the climate control. With the clock you could program what time night time is and white brightness the screen turned down to. Wasn't ever blaring in my face. Just my 2cents. I just think it looks neater thats all.

Re: PHIL069's 95 FTO GPX
Genuine MOMO wheel, made of steel and MOMO stamped in the back, it's a new wheel in their 2012 range
I imported it from Italy

Looks so nice mate!
Very clean example of an FTO.
And at least we all know that it's not an FTP!
