FTO338 is correct, but I'll add some more info =P
Only the 6A12 mivec engines have non self-adjusting tappets, therefore GPX and GPvR models have to have their tappets adjusted every so often
(Some people adjust theirs every 20k km service, others leave it to 40-50k service, my car hasn't had it done in its lifetime as far as I know and I'm past the 100k km mark)
The values are as follows:
Standard Values
Intake: 1 mm
Exhaust 1.3mm
Limit Values
Intake: 0.5 mm
Exhaust: 0.8 mm
These are from the engine and transmission workshop manual. Basically you should have your tappets adjusted to the standard values, there some tolerance however as shown by the limit values =)
Now the FTO chassis manual and the engine and transmission manual's state different methods of adjusting the tappets, relevant page references are:
Chassis (Part 1): 11A-8
Engine: 1-30
Both copies I have are from 1998.
I'm due to adjust my tappets in the next few months, so if this thread is still around, I'll let you know.
Enjoy.

gettin extractors, 63mm throttle body and rising fuel pressure reg at the same time, so it wont be back to the end of the week. (or probably early neat week, you know how mechanics are)
Can't wait to have her back though. Pain in ass only havin one car and, well... the old 626 does lack in the power dept a bit.
Hope it makes some more power though as it was startin to lack.
Will get the car dyno'd after it comes back from the panelbeaters in a few weeks, then will know how much power the RPW accessories add.
