FS: Ultra Racing Bars
Hi All,
Selling the front lower bar and middle lower bar. These have done less than 3000kms, still in good condition.
1- Front lower Bar. Asking for $100, Price is negotiable (On eBay someone is selling it for $169)
2- Middle Lower Bar. Asking for $100, Price is negotiable (On eBay someone is selling it for $220)
Please note: the front lower bar will not fit if you have aftermarket extractors and down pipe.
Prefer pickup only, items are in Eastern Suburbs next to Maroubra 2035.
I can bring them to the bonfire if you are coming.
Thanks.

Re: FS: Ultra Racing Bars
Welcome back, glad to see your coming to the bonfire
Anyway...Do any modificatios need to be made to fit these?
I have extractors so not sure if the front one will fit.
EDIT: Why aren't they fitted to your car?
EDIT2: Why don't you want them?

They were fitted but the front lower bar doesnt fit now becuase of aftermarket extractors and down pipe, thats the reason why i dont want them. The middle lower bar will still fit but i thought may as well sell that also.
Think the front lower bar will only fit with stock extractors and down pipe, no modification is required for the front lower bar with stock exhaust.

I've got RPW Extractors on my FTO. My Ultra Racing Front Lower Bar still fits fine. I think part of the extractors touch the bar (a tiny bit), so maybe wrap that part of the extractors with exhaust heat wrap.

Has your bar been bent to make it fit?

Re: FS: Ultra Racing Bars
Luckily I took the bar off a few weekends ago to remove the alternator so I'm able to check it. RPW put it on at the same time as the extractors.FTO_GPvR wrote:Has your bar been bent to make it fit?
Just went out and had a look at the bar. It's not bent, but you can see where the pipe was sitting on it. Looks like it's started burning through the bar.

Not sure if exhaust heat tape would prevent this from happening, I didn't have any on. I've had the bar and extractors on for ~45,000kms.
