Re: EOI SYD: FTO GPX Racecar Part Out
OK, I've decided to make one last attempt to sell this complete. I've got around 20 watchers on eBay (although most are probably from this forum lol) and finally received a couple of offers last night but still too low. If I don't have a buyer by Friday this car will no longer be for sale complete and I'll begin dismantling and parting this out from Saturday afternoon.

Re: EOI SYD: FTO GPX Racecar Part Out
Some more info re the likely part out from Saturday morning.
If you want to see/hear the engine or gearbox running Saturday morning will be your last opportunity. I'm going to run the engine briefly for a quick warmup prior to beginning to dismantle it so I can do a warm compression test before disconnecting everything, and I won't be putting it back together again
Saturday I'm planning to remove bonnet, boot, and the eManage Ultimate and associated kit (which is spoken for).
Bonnet with bonnet pins $50.
Bonnet without bonnet pins FREE! Will be going to scrap on Monday if no one wants it.
Boot with alloy rear wing $200.
Boot without alloy rear wing or locks FREE! Will be going to scrap on Monday if no one wants it.
Doors including good trims and working electrics $100 for both. Note I expect there is some paint damage under the stickers. Mirrors not included for his price. Door mirrors good working condition add $100. Full lock set (boot & ignition) add $50.
I'm planning to have everything in the engine bay disconnected on Saturday so I can remove the engine and gearbox on Sunday along with the doors. The car will then go back on stands and I'll start dismantling items that have been requested first (ie rear suspension).
Also extractors are $300 not $400 lol! They are complete, good condition, and also include a welded bung for a wideband sensor.

Also the gearbox is still available. Several people very interested but no one able to commit financially to this just yet.
Remember I also have the other GPX gearbox here;

Happy to split this up if someone just wants the gearbox.

Re: EOI SYD: FTO GPX Racecar Part Out
Can I have the boot and bonnet please (Without pins, wing or locks) I bought a boot off eBay for $1 but he never got back to me for picking it up
I'm sure when I get there to collect, I'll find something else that I want

Yep, provided no one wants to buy them. Bear in mind there are holes drilled in em for fitting the bonnet pins and rear wing.Daniel2019 wrote:Can I have the boot and bonnet please (Without pins, wing or locks) I bought a boot off eBay for $1 but he never got back to me for picking it up

Re: EOI SYD: FTO GPX Racecar Part Out
Yep, no worries.
Have to weld up the boot holes so bonnet holes can be done as well, no biggie, thanks mate.
Like I said, I'm sure you'll end up with some cash for something that catches my eye while I'm there
How's Sunday for you for me to pickup?

I doubt anyone will want to buy them and the bonnet pins and wing will get used on the new racecar.

Re: EOI SYD: FTO GPX Racecar Part Out
Mate I'd love to but I need to get stuck into the new project, so I need the garage space and the cash for parts (and to replenish my drained bank account lol). I'm just not getting any interest.silverGPX wrote:I reckon you should wait a few more months Shane, someone will buy her!
