Makes job much much easier dont have to disconnect ac just remove so can easily remove ps pump bracket making it easy to get to right water pump bolts and more room. Dont have if just doing belt without pump though
The PS bracket bolts don't need to come off though, you rip it out still connected to the bracket its tied to.
