FS: UAS big brake kit - $200!! Cheap!!

Post by Bennoz »

As you all know, I've changed my brake setup, so I'm offloading this big brake kit.

The rotors are fucked and need replacing

UAS can still get the rotors, but they are $386 a pop (cheaper for non slotted) so if you count the $200 I'm asking for the kit, plus $800, you've got a full big brake kit for $1000.

PLUS the pads still have 80% meat left on them & they are EBC Reds valued at $280 a pair.

Its a 326mm rotor, ex VP, VN, VR & VS HSV PBR caliper (DB1353) - comes with all nuts & bolts, direct fit to any FTO. 17" wheels a minimum.

Pictures are obviously of when they were new, they've been on my car for about 5 years, they're a bit grubby. Mind you, nothing some caliper paint wouldn't spruce up.

$200 firm. Will post if need be, again it will be pricey. There's a fair bit of weight in them.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I think I am interested.
Problem is, then I'd have to sell the new front rotors and pads I bought only a couple of months ago.... :?

I might be able to get the rotors for these cheaper. I got a trade price of $386 on them, the non slotted are apparently significantly cheaper..

Id go non slotted personally, so would be cheaper still, but mm.

I take it the currents can't be machined.
(don't think slotted can be machined...?)

I think a caliper rebuild, some slotted discs and some good pads will suffice.

They're fucked mate, cracked & well below minimum thickness. EBC reds will do that.
