Hi, Welcome to the club... You should easily be able to pick up a neat FTO in your budget.

Can't give you adelaide places though, can give you Sydney places if that helps :P

Yay, another Adelaidian :D WTTC

For info about what to look for when buying an FTO, click the link below...
http://www.ftoaustralia.com/modules.php ... pic&t=8085

Your budget should buy you a pretty good FTO from what I've seen, just depends on which models your looking at, how many K's it's done, whether your buying private or thru a yard and how hard you haggle

If you're not sure if they're asking too much, ask the members of this forum, there's a lot of people in the know here who are very helpful. Just make sure you give a fair amount of detail about it. You might even end up with some good info to bargain with...

Can't help much on where to buy, with rarer cars like these it's a bit of luck really. I was lucky with mine- went into a yard to look at another car and there she was...

Have a look in the South Australia section in the State Boards for more info from Adelaide members. We are organising a get together for a BBQ this weekend if you'd like to interrogate us and check out some member rides. We're a friendly bunch so don't be shy...

WTTC! well thats another one for adelaide... if you do decide to buy one, u will love it. i absolutly love my little one (not oliver 89 lol) take one for a drive and ull c what its all about, then i guess u make up your mind that way. were r u from in adel? because i have seen quite a few around. seems that they are gettin quite common.. which i do not like
anyways, iv seen a silver one on main south rd, st marys which seems to be in good nick but iv only seen it at night so im not 100% sure if its good all round, and theres another one on main nth rd pooraka. but that one seems pretty flimsy.. just a matter of drivin around and ull find em. take them for a test drive to get the feel of them.
let us know how u go anyways.

Spotted a red FTO in a car yard on North East Rd at Klemzig today. Momentum Motorsports. Looked tidy at a distance. Not sure of the details but might be worth a look...

There's also a guy selling one privately who parks out at Centro Arndale all the time. Red one too. I've tagged him for the forum but haven't seen him on here.

There's a few starting points for ya
