Its called a 'nutsert' gun, or 'blind nut' gun. Very much like a pop riveter, but it inserts threads into places where you can't get a nut to the back of :)

I installed these exact struts in my FTO last week.

All I had to do was drill a new hole in the bottom bracket of the strut. Other than that they fit perfectly.

So I finally got talked into finding the 65mm Magna throttle body. I always though it was a myth, but it appears to be quite true.

Here's a 65mm Mitsi throttle body from a 6G72. Its also found on the 6G74. Commonly seen in TE to TW 3rd gen Magnas and the NJ Pajero.

As you can see, the stud pattern is identical, the only difference is the hole you can see just below the top right mounting hole.
Its the idle screw bypass hole & by the looks of it, I may need to grind a groove down & in to match up the flow.

The lower sections (water channels & stepper mounting) are slightly different, but are interchangeable. So I'll just bolt the FTO one on the Magna TB.

My tuner seems to think I'll pickup a significant amount with the 5mm size change. Will have to compare gaskets & also check the intake mating face. May have to port it out larger to match.

How far out is this hole?

Also you will need to open up the manifold where it bolts on, where it bolts to the manifold is only 60mm.

The hole is no longer an issue, its blocked off by the manifold, on both the Manga and mine :)

But I do have some metal to grind out of the manifold as predicted to match it up. See gasket comparison pic.
Lucky I have plenty of stock of straight grinder tips :D

Also sandblasted & cleaned up the new TB and gave it a coat of matte black.
